Phil was appointed Group Chief Executive Royal London Group in October 2011. Phil previously worked for Lloyds Banking Group where he was Managing Director of General Insurance, followed by Managing Director of Scottish Widows and Clerical Medical.

Former roles include Chief Operations Officer for AXA Life and Managing Director of Direct Business for CGU.
