Prior to joining Royal London Asset Management in 2004 as Chief Investment Officer, Robert was the Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director of the ISIS Group. His career in asset management has seen him take on a wide variety of portfolio management roles of both a retail and institutional nature. 

Robert has been a member of the ABI Investment Committee for a number of years and was the Deputy Chairman before becoming Chairman in January 2012. He is also a member of the IOD, the Asset Management Committee of the Investment Management Association,  and the Listing Authority Advisory Committee. In addition he is a member of the FRC’s Auditing Practices Board, is an alternate on the UK Takeover Panel and a member of the LSE’s Primary Markets Group.
