ABI Solvency II seminar on QIS5 17 August 2010 in association with PwC

We are delighted to announce that ABI is launching a series of Solvency II workshops in conjunction with PwC.  

Each workshop will explore an issue of significance to insurers in their implementation of Solvency II. 

Our first is on QIS5 and is being held on 17 August at the ABI.

QIS5 Workshop 17 August, 09.30-12.30, at ABI, 51 Gresham Street, London

The FSA are expecting all insurers to go through the QIS5 exercise 'for real' this time.  It will be an important milestone in the preparation for implementation - a dry run test of your firm's processes. Technical specifications are already available and the submission of spreadsheets are expected the first week in August with responses to the FSA required by the end of October for solo entities and mid-November for groups. 

This workshop will provide an opportunity to hear the latest thinking on QIS5 from ABI with technical input from PwC. Join us at the ABI to explore the specifications together and focus on key highlights which may have a significant impact on your business.
