Liz is Assistant Director, Head of Communications.
Liz comes to the ABI having spent 5 years working for the Department of Work and Pensions, where she was a member of the management team of the Comms directorate. Most recently she has worked as Press Secretary to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Yvette Cooper, as well as her predecessor James Purnell.
Before her time at the DWP, Liz worked for Age Concern as a Senior Press Officer and previous to that worked as a Consultant at Firefly Communications.
