The Association of British Insurers (ABI) will launch its new genetics Code of Practice at a News Conference at 10 am on Thursday 18 December, at ABI's offices, at 51 Gresham Street, London EC2V 7HQ.

The Code will apply to all areas of insurance business, and gives detailed guidance to insurers on when and how they should deal with genetic information from policyholders.
