    ABI welcomes Treasury consultation on NHS funding : - time for imagination and innovation say insurers

    Statement from Richard Walsh, Head of Health Insurance at the ABI (Association of British Insurers):

    “The ABI welcomes the publication today of the draft Wanless report on NHS funding and looks forward to taking a full part in the consultation exercise. This is a time for imagination and innovation to ensure a sustainable future for the NHS. The insurance industry will want to work with the Government to achieve this.”
