ABI launches new fund sectors web tool for advisers and consumers

Following recent improvements to the ABI’s sector classification system for life and pension funds, a new online resource has been launched to help consumers and financial advisers identify funds with similar investment strategies.

The web site, produced in conjunction with fund data provider Financial Express, can be accessed via the ABI home page, www.abi.org.uk.

Maggie Craig, the ABI’s Director of Life and Savings, said:

“The revised ABI Sectors have improved the way in which funds are classified and will help investors and their advisers to identify similar funds. The new web site provides a definitive list of comparable funds and is a positive move for advisers and investors.”
