The Total Market section contains total general insurance business data including UK, worldwide and overseas premiums split into motor, non-motor, MAT, and non-MAT reinsurance, and underwriting results for these categories. Also included are UK premium statistics on motor, accident and health, property, general liability, pecuniary loss, home-foreign, MAT, and non-MAT reinsurance, UK net written premiums split by ABI and Lloyds, worldwide trading result, general business capacity statistics, worldwide revenue account for other funded business (motor and non-motor). Two tables showing rankings of the current largest 20 general UK insurance groups based on UK premium both net and gross of reinsurance are also provided. Data on overseas business includes net written premiums by territory, EU net written premiums by country, and total premiums for the USA, Canada and the EU.
