Anthony Baldwin

Anthony Baldwin is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board Director of AIG UK. 

Based in London, Anthony leads the Executive Committee of AIG UK and works with the Board and senior management to formulate AIG’s profitable growth strategies for the UK. 

Anthony has worked at AIG for over 20 years previously serving as CEO of AIG Europe Limited and before that as Managing Director Field Operations, EMEA. 

He joined AIG’s Financial Lines division in 1995 as Financial Institutions Manager for the UK and Ireland. He later became Chief Underwriting Officer for Financial Lines UK and Ireland in 2004, and two years later, was appointed Financial Lines Manager UK and Ireland. In 2008, he was appointed Senior Vice President of AIG’s International Commercial Lines division, with responsibility for AIG’s international Financial Lines portfolio. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. 

Anthony is also a member of the Board of Directors of British American Business (BAB), The Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the London Market Group (LMG).
