We’re pleased to welcome you in October for our Birmingham Young Professionals event aimed at supporting early‑career professionals across the insurance and long‑term savings sector. The event will bring together new-comers from across the industry, alongside experienced experts who will share practical insights into working in the industry, showcasing the depth and scope our industry has to offer.

What to Expect
The event will consist of an introduction to The ABI and how to make the most of your membership. There will then be quick-fire presentations, open table discussions and networking. We will also be joined by a senior leader from the industry who will provide a keynote address on their tips and tricks if they were at the beginning of their career. We hope by the end of this event, you will build connections, exchange perspectives, and develop a clearer understanding of the industry’s role and impact. Whether you work in underwriting, actuarial, compliance, customer service, or another area, the event is designed to leave you better informed, more confident, and connected to others navigating similar career stages.
