You are invited to a private dinner with leading Executives from our London Market and commercial lines member firms. The principal guest at the dinner will be Oliver Ralph, Insurance Correspondent, The Financial Times.
Oliver will share his insights on the ongoing profitability of the London Market amid competition from other insurance centres and the opportunities and pitfalls for the insurance market in London in the context of both the UK’s exit from the European Union and key global regulatory developments. It will also be an important opportunity to engage on key commercial lines insurance issues, including the development of the UK’s cyber insurance market and the ongoing challenges associated with the regulatory regime affecting the fire safety of buildings.
We will also hear his views on the impact of technology on both the cost of doing business and providing an enhanced service to customers; the importance of improving diversity and inclusion and the recent focus by the FCA on the general insurance market.
The dinner will take place on the 8th floor at the ABI, One America Square, 17 Crosswall, London, EC3N 2LB on 17th October 2019 at 18:00 for 18:30 start and a 21:00 finish. The dress code is business attire.
