We are delighted to invite you to our Annual NEDs and Chairs Network dinner, part of the ABI NEDs and Chairs Network, on Tuesday 18th June 2019.

Paddy McGuinness, CMG OBE - Senior Advisor Brunswick Group and Former Deputy National Security Adviser (2014-2018) will give the dinner speech.

Since it has launched our NEDs and Chairs Network has been extremely popular with many of you attending a range of events. This is a great opportunity to network with colleagues from across the industry.

The dress code is business attire, if you have any dietary requirements please enter these when registering.

Paddy McGuinessPaddy McGuinness joined Brunswick as a Senior Advisor in November 2018 and advises on crisis and resilience issues, providing senior counsel to clients on business and political risk. He works closely with the agency’s regional and specialist leads across Cyber, Litigation, Geopolitical, Activism and Regulatory Affairs.

Previously Paddy was, from 2014-18, the UK’s Deputy National Security Advisor for Intelligence, Security and Resilience advising two successive Prime Minsters on UK Homeland Security policy. This included the UK’s National Risk Assessment and ability to respond to and recover from all hazards and threats, National crisis response and coordination, Cyber strategies and programmes, Counter Terrorism and approach to managing Hostile State Activities covering Critical National Infrastructure and issues with technology and inward investment.

A career Foreign Service officer Paddy previously held leadership positions covering Counter Terrorism aspects of Cyber and the Middle East, Iran, Counter Proliferation and Africa. He has served overseas in Yemen, UAE Egypt and Italy. Paddy studied History at Oxford University. He was honoured with an OBE in 1997 and CMG in 2014.
