Maxine has been involved in the world of financial services and investments tax for more years than she cares to remember. Originally trained at Ernst & Young in Southampton, she moved to her first in-house role in 1996 with Skandia Life and was inducted into the mysteries of the life assurance tax regime. Maxine subsequently moved to the Zurich group and was heavily involved in the launch of their platform business. After a brief foray into the world of sucking and blowing (vacuum cleaners and hand dryers), Maxine has now returned to the fold and is currently working at the Phoenix Group.
