Robert Gooding is a tax Specialist with 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
He has worked across the sector leading the delivery of PwC's tax services to life & general insurance groups as well as insurance brokers. Over the last 5 years, Rob has been working to develop PwC’s Tax Reporting & Strategy team in Financial Services, helping businesses deliver tax - digitally, strategically and operationally.
As part of this role he has supported a number of insurance groups in developing their approach to tax risk management in the UK and internationally. This has included the development of tax strategy and risk & control frameworks, as well as establishing specific controls to manage high-risk areas. He is currently working with clients on the adoption of the EU Mandatory Disclosure Rules in the UK and throughout Europe.
