Tony is the project manager for AM Best’s IFRS 17 implementation programme. His role at AM Best has included the credit ratings of major UK and European based insurers and commentary relating to sector-wide issues. More recently he has focused on credit rating policy and methodology on a global basis.
Tony was Sector Head Financials (Europe) and Senior Analyst responsible for European insurers at Standard and Poors Equity Research. Previously he headed up a global insurance research activity at PwC.
Earlier in his career Tony was a Director with Deutsche Bank responsible for equity analyst coverage of European insurers. He was ranked in the ‘top 20’ of all analysts across all sectors in the industry standard survey of UK fund managers.
