Jon Dye, ABI Chair, and Huw Evans, Director General of the ABI, would like to invite you to join a get together to say our goodbye to Hugh Savill, who is leaving the ABI at the end of the year. This will be held through a virtual networking platform on Thursday 17 December 2020, 18:00 to 20:00 and you need to register here to confirm your place. The speeches will start at 18:05 until 18:40 leaving plenty of time for networking until 20:00 to enable to catch up with colleagues.
We’ll be using an exciting tool called Remo, a live virtual event and networking space that will give delegates the freedom to interact by moving around small virtual tables, communicating via individual video calls at each table. Delegates will be able to create a profile when they register to highlight the information they share with other attendees, as well as look for contacts in the directory to be able to reach out and meet up.
As it’s going to be practically impossible for everyone to catch Hugh 1-2-1 on the evening, you may also want to get in touch with him directly before he leaves.
We are planning to present Hugh with a book of messages and a video tribute, and would encourage you to send in messages, anecdotes and photos that we will put together for Hugh. These can be written wishes and/or short videos of up to one minute; please email these to [email protected] by 27 November 2020 (please refer to guidance below).
