Alison McDowell is a digital identity advisor leading market development work in DCMS. She has covered portfolios in both GDS and DCMS, having joined government in June 2019 from EY.
Alison is responsible for developing relationships with the private sector to establish a thriving market for digital identity across the UK. She also focuses on financial inclusion, ensuring that the market we build works for everyone.
Before joining the government, Alison spent 20 years in consulting and commercial leadership roles in financial services.
