James Dalton is Director of General Insurance Policy at the ABI. James has responsibility for leading the ABI’s work on property, liability, health and motor insurance issues, including flooding policy, civil justice reform, tackling insurance fraud and the issues associated with legacy claims. James was previously the ABI’s Assistant Director, Head of Motor and Liability.
Prior to joining the ABI in 2007, James was a Senior Adviser at the New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development and acted as Private Secretary to the New Zealand Minister of Commerce.
