As Capital Initiative and Investment Director at LVFS, Emily’s role encompasses the CIO responsibility as well as Capital Management, ALM and Treasury. Over 6 years at LVFS Emily has led numerous strategic capital and investment projects including an innovative reinsurance transaction on a £1bn block of profit deferred annuities, matching adjustment applications, pension scheme de-risking transactions and a significant Strategic Asset Allocation switch delivering value for the LV members. Prior to LVFS, Emily started her career in consulting before spending 8 years in banking with RBS where she developed her ALM and Investment expertise. She is a regular conference speaker and an active member of the IFoA.
