Hayley Robinson is an underwriting leader with over 30 years of general insurance experience both in the UK and international markets. A classically trained commercial lines underwriter, she has since gained valuable experience across all lines of personal, commercial and reinsurance business, as well as experience in Claims having started her career at RSA and also having worked at Aviva. Hayley has successfully led significant operational transformation projects both in the UK and Latin America.
Hayley joined Zurich Insurance plc in March 2018 as the Chief Underwriting Officer and is responsible for the leadership of the Underwriting and Pricing function comprising c.800 staff across 12 locations. She is passionate about developing people and strives to create an environment where people are inspired to deliver consistently high performance. She is married to Stuart and is the mother of 19-year-old triplets.
