Jon was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Holdings plc and Allianz Insurance plc in 2013.
Allianz Holdings incorporates LV= General Insurance Group (LVGIG) and the General Insurance Division of Legal & General (L&G GI), following the acquisition in January 2020. The company is a property and casualty insurer providing insurance to commercial and personal customers in Great Britain. Allianz Insurance is part of Allianz SE, the global financial services provider.
Jon is also Chair of the Association of British Insurers.
Previous roles within Allianz include General Manager of Allianz Retail between 2007 and 2013, and Director, Claims from 2003, when he joined the company.
Prior to joining Allianz Jon worked at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe SA, in a variety of claims roles, and Commercial Union.
He is a law graduate of Cambridge University and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Jon is married with two teenage children.
