Paul has significant experience across Life Insurance, joining Aviva in 2007 operating across a number of roles in the UK and Internationally, and was appointed to lead Aviva’s Individual Protection business in 2016, moving from his previous role as Europe CFO. Paul holds a number of entity director roles in Aviva, including its Health business. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Paul has worked across a number of industries prior to his move to Aviva. Paul was previously Chair of the ABI Retain Protection group but was appointed as Chair of the ABI Protection Board from January 2021.
Paul’s home comprises three young adults, a vicar (his wife), and a dog, and until recently he was enjoying the resurgence of the boyhood success of Liverpool FC.
