Dr Bev Adams puts the new PFR code of practice to work every day in her role as the Head of Climate and Catastrophe Resilience at Marsh Advisory, helping UK and global business/organisations of all shapes and sizes manage their flood risk as it stands today and in readiness for a warmer world. Bev is responsible for the Roundtable’s “Business Adoption Pathway”, and with Flood Re is driving the development a resilience scoring framework for to ensure that insurers and lenders recognise operational good practice when homes and businesses build resilient, design resilient, recover resilient and invest resilient. Bev is also a specialist in physical climate scenario modelling and when not working on flood, her team is busy helping companies with TCFD and ESG reporting.
