Laurence is married to Josh and they have two daughters. Laurence would describe his job as being a “tax adviser” although once overheard his eldest daughter telling a friend he was a “taxi driver” so perhaps needs to enunciate better.
Laurence is a head of tax at Catalina, a Bermuda headquartered insurance group which acquires and manages insurance companies and portfolios in run-off. Catalina was founded in 2005 and has made over 30 acquisitions / LPTs with total reserves exceeding $9bn.
Laurence has worked in financial services tax for 23 years; prior to joining Catalina he held roles at the Corporation of Lloyd’s, Legal & General and PwC.
