Jon is the Director of Underwriting, motor for QBE European operations. Joining in 2019 from Allianz Insurance where he led the UK Commercial Motor portfolio for the previous 8 years. Previous to Allianz Jon held senior leadership positions in a Lloyds syndicate underwriting both UK and overseas business.
As well as an established underwriting portfolio manager Jon has and continues to represent Motor insurers on a number of industry bodies and is currently the chair for the Automated Driving Insurer Group supported by the ABI and Thatcham Research.
