Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summit: Driving change in our sector - Hybrid

A diverse workforce and inclusive culture in the insurance and long-term savings sector are vital for businesses, employees and our customers alike. Whilst some progress has been made, it is clear much more is required to shift the dial and make the sector truly representative of the customers we serve.

This Summit marks the launch of the ABI’s multi-year, sector-wide blueprint for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The blueprint will spell out how the sector will come together to boost the attractiveness of our industry to people from all backgrounds, and to create a level playing field where career progression is based on performance, not polish.

Senior speakers from our industry will join experienced leaders from other sectors, policymakers and experts from the third sector to debate how we can most effectively attract and retain diverse talent, and what needs to change. Delegates will benefit from hearing about practical initiatives to drive change, how to build inclusive cultures that benefit everyone, and honest assessments of where more still needs to be done.
