The ABI will hold its annual Insurance Tax Convention on 20 September 2022 at our new venue, Wyboston Lakes Resort in Bedfordshire. This event will feature speakers from the Big Four, industry and HMRC/HMT, who will cover a range of key industry topics including OECD digital taxation measures, IFRS17 and Indirect Tax.

Wellness hub:
The wellness hub returns for another year at the Tax Convention but this time at Wyboston Lakes Resort. At the wellness hub, guests will have the chance to de-stress your mind, body and soul by getting involved with the following activities:
- Continuing the morning run tradition, a group of delegates will meet outside the Woodlands Event Centre at 07:30 and enjoy a run along the lakes and resort before the start of the convention.
- An opportunity to take part in miniature Golf which will add an exciting but calm element to the day. The miniature golf course has 9 holes and will last around 20 minutes to complete one game. Bookings are not required ahead, and guests can play on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Get involved and play a game of petanque which can relieve stress and anxiety as well as prevent social isolation. A game of petanque will typically last about 5 minutes. Bookings are not required ahead, and guests can play on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Try your luck against someone and play a game of table tennis. Table tennis can keep your heart strong and healthy but it’s also known as a very enjoyable activity to take part in. A round of table tennis will take around 10 minutes. Bookings are not required ahead, and guests can play on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A relaxing back massage to help ease your muscles, reduce tightness and back pain. Our therapists will be located in Beech room on the ground floor and each treatment will last approximately 6 minutes. Bookings are not required ahead, and slots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
