As Chief Underwriter Helen oversees the development of “all things underwriting” at AIG Life UK. With a passion for improving transparency in underwriting and building consumer trust Helen has been at forefront of demystifying underwriting through blogs, videos, webinars, podcasts and speaking at industry events. Helen is an active member of cross industry groups such as the Access to Insurance and ABI Mental Health Standards working groups which address industry underwriting challenges.
As Chair of the Assurance Medical Underwriting Society Helen is involved in educating underwriters as well as developing the next generation of underwriting professionals.
