Rob Ferguson is the Group Treasurer at Royal London with over 25 years of financial services experience spanning banking, multinational reinsurance, and UK Life insurance. Rob began his career in financial sector audit at KPMG, followed by 4 years in Treasury services at Santander. This was followed by 15 years at SwissRe where he held a number of roles across Risk Management, Short Term Interest Rate and FX Trading and business unit Head of Treasury roles. For the last 5 years Rob has headed the Group Treasury function for ReAsssure (now part of Phoenix Group) and Royal London. Rob has a broad based skillset across debt capital markets, ALM, FX, liquidity, collateral and cash management and currently holds the industry chair position of the PRA’s Liquidity Subject Expert Group (LSEG).
