Ursula is Managing Director of the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) and joined in July 2022 with her initial focus being the developing, publication and planning of the new IFB 3 year strategy which runs from 2023-2026. More generally, she is responsible for ensuring the IFB is leading and supporting the insurance industry’s collective fight against fraud.
Ursula previously worked at LV= for 15 years, across the GI, Life, Pensions and Investment product, in a number of financial crime and risk related roles. Her last role being Director of Financial Crime and Data Protection at LV=, which included the regulatory roles of Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Overall, Ursula has worked in the insurance sector fighting financial crime for over 25 years and has played a key role in a number industry initiatives, committees and Boards
