In his role, Derek works with senior leaders to develop the talent Microsoft needs to deliver its mission of empowering every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. He coaches leaders to advance their own leadership capabilities, build high performing teams and cultures. He is also proud to lead Microsoft’s Early in Career team who are helping to build digital skills for the future. With a background in psychology and organisational change, Derek is driven to help leaders build inclusive, psychologically safe, and innovative teams where everyone has the opportunity to become the best possible version of themselves.
