Katie is the Commercial Director for Vitality Health in the UK. In this role she leads Vitality’s end to end member journeys from behaviour change and health improvement through primary care and into secondary care. Prior to this, Katie lived in Kenya for 7 years where she served as the Head of Health Strategy for IBM Africa and then more recently the Head of Strategy and New Projects for CarePay, a health tech financing platform for Africa. Before leaving the UK for Kenya, Katie was the Head of Technical Marketing and Clinical Vitality for PruHealth (which subsequently became Vitality).
Earlier in Katie’s career she was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, and prior to this trained as a medical doctor at Oxford University and Imperial College London. Katie is passionate about the development of sustainable healthcare systems around the world and continues to pursue this through the Vitality model. Katie is also an enthusiastic sportswoman who loves to turn her hand to any sport offered to her, a trait that is luckily shared by her husband and three young children.
