Mervyn Skeet is the Chief Executive Officer of the Bermuda Corporate Income Tax Agency, where he is leading the implementation and administration of Bermuda’s new Corporate Income Tax regime.
Mervyn brings over 35 years of experience, having served in various leadership roles within the financial services sector and a strong background in international tax policy and its impact on the global insurance market. Before joining the Bermuda Corporate Income Tax Agency, Mervyn served as the Director of General Insurance Policy at the Association of British Insurers (The ABI). Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director, Head of Tax.
Mervyn has also held significant leadership roles in the financial services sector, in particular Global Head of Tax and Managing Director at XL Group, and Senior Vice President at Chubb.
