Roma is the Head of Department, Retail General Insurance & Protection, Supervision.
She has over 20 years’ experience in financial services both in the industry and as a regulator. She has held a variety of roles in regulation, supervising firms of all sizes, managing teams in the Retail Intermediaries Sectors and leading the delivery of significant pieces of work relating to High Cost Credit, Debt Management, Treating Customers Fairly, Quality of Advice, Equity Release, RDR and regulatory Reform.
More recently she was Head of Department in Retail Lending and played a pivotal role in implementing a supervisory regime for Consumer Credit firms, and in doing so has instigated change in culture and practices securing better outcomes for some of the UKs most vulnerable consumers.
