Victoria Derbyshire is a BAFTA, RTS and Sony-award winning journalist and broadcaster. She is an experienced host of award ceremonies and adept conference facilitator.
Her eponymous daily news and current affairs show has been broadcast on BBC 2 and BBC News since 2015. Two years after its launch she won a BAFTA for her interview with four former footballers who revealed they had been sexually abused by their coach when they were boys. The scoop also won her two RTS awards - for best interview and for presenter of the year.
She formerly presented the morning news/current affairs and interview programme on BBC Radio 5 live and was a 5 Live presenter for 16 years. Over her career she has covered some of the biggest news stories - such as the Grenfell Tower fire, 9/11, the Manchester terror attack.
