Paul advises insurance companies, banks and regulators on a range of commercial and regulatory issues in the UK and Ireland. He provides specialist advice on competition, regulatory or policy issues, and helps clients articulate and influence the underlying economics of their markets. Paul’s work in the insurance sector includes leading a study of the public liability market for the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, developing thought leadership on pensions policy for a major provider, responding to the FCA’s GI pricing practices study for a large provider and undertaking an audit of value for money of legacy workplace pensions for the ABI.
