Louisa Denning

Louisa practises exclusively in the field of personal injury.  She has wide experience of litigation involving road accidents, accidents at work, occupiers’ liability and other public liability claims.  Louisa has a keen interest and expertise in the defence of fraudulent personal injury claims.  She is a panel barrister for several major insurers and is regularly instructed by specialist Defendant firms of solicitors.  In recent years, Louisa has been instructed by a leading firm of solicitors to advise and prepare upwards of 30 bespoke defences in claims connected to a fraud ring, which is the subject of criminal investigation by West Midlands Police.  Aside from her regular instruction by specialists in road traffic litigation, Louisa has seen increasing instruction by specialist solicitors and insurers concerned with fraudulent claims in the context of both employers’ liability and public liability accidents.

Outside of work, aside from spending time with her family, Louisa is a keen photographer (a hobby which she combines with her interest in travel) and an avid reader.  She also enjoys swimming for relaxation and plays the piano.
