ABI submits response to FCA general insurance add on market study

The ABI has submitted its response to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) study of general insurance add-on products.

The study was announced by the FSA in December 2012 and focuses on how GI add-ons are sold and the effectiveness of competition in the five markets under investigation.

In July, the FCA issued a 'call for evidence' to firms and consumers and the regulator expects to publish its findings by early 2014.
