The Pensions Dashboard Programme have published the data standards which will underpin the initial technology and allow individuals to view their pensions via their chosen dashboard.
Commenting on the publication, Yvonne Braun, Director of Long-Term Savings and Protection at the Association of British Insurers said:
“The data publications are a big step forward for the Dashboards programme. Having the right data available is essential for delivering dashboards that will help consumers. Knowing what data elements will be included is helpful and should allow work to begin, but there are some elements of preparation that can only be done once the full data standard is delivered. Dashboards can transform the way that consumers engage with their savings and these publications get us further along the road to delivering them.”
