Danica Burns

Public Affairs Adviser

Danica Burn is a Public Affairs Adviser in the Advocacy Directorate.

She is responsible for delivery of public affairs projects covering Health and Protection.

Joined in September 2019, from the Ministry of Justice New Zealand, where she was part of the team responsible for the operation and management of the District Courts and Tribunals within NZ and responsible for developing the policy behind the Canterbury Earthquakes Insurance Tribunal Act 2019.

She is a registered Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria, Wellington.
