The ABI Future Leaders programme is for up and coming senior insurance industry leaders.
The programme was created in consultation with insurers to complement and add to the development pathways of their most promising senior leaders. The year long course will help equip senior leaders with the skills and experience they need to lead insurance and long-term savings companies. This includes introducing them to key influencers outside of the industry, such as legislators and regulators, and exposing them to existing CEOs.
Contributors to the programme so far inclue former Pensions Minister Rt Hon Sir Steve Webb, James Daley from Fairer Finance, former Acting Chief Executive at the FCA Tracey McDermott CBE, Richard Rowney from LV=, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for the Economy in the House of Lords Rt Hon Baroness Susan Kramer, Russell Higginbotham from Swiss Re and Jo Dawson, Partner and Executive Coach at the Alexander Partnership.
The ABI is committed to supporting diverse talent in the industry, and has prioritised good gender balance among the 2017 Future Leaders programme delegates.
