Women in Finance Charter

The ABI was one of the first signatories to the Women in Finance Charter in 2016. As at 1 September 2026, women represented 48% of our senior management team. Our target is to achieve and maintain 50% female representation in senior management by 31 December 2027.

We support this ambition through inclusive recruitment practices, flexible and hybrid working, mentoring opportunities, transparent promotion processes and policies that support colleagues at different stages of life and career.

We monitor our progress regularly and remain committed to creating an inclusive workplace in which everyone has the opportunity to develop and succeed.
