David Phillips
Claims Validation Technical Manager, NFU Mutual and Chair General Insurance Fraud Committee
David Phillips was appointed Claims Validation Technical Manager, NFU Mutual, in 2009. He has over 33 years’ worth of experience in general and life insurance; managing customer service, injury, sales, and investigations.
He has great experience helping the industry to work collaboratively on its counter fraud approach, previously on the ABI’s General Insurance Anti-Fraud Committee, and Chair of the Insurance Fraud Investigators Group (IFIG). In March 2022 he became Chair of the General Insurance Fraud Committee (GIFC), previously leading GIFC’s working group on the whiplash reforms.
In 2013 he attained a Master of Arts (MA) with merit, in Fraud Management.
