Dr O’Donnell has been a GP Partner in Slough for over 20 years. He joined Medical Solutions as a GP in 2001 and since then has provided weekly consultation sessions for our patients. In recent years he has been a key member of the Clinical Governance Board.
He was appointed Chair of NHS Slough CCG in 2013. In 2014 he led the first 7-day in-hours GP service provision in England. He was involved in drawing up initial plans for the NHS Commissioning Assembly, later to become NHS Clinical Commissioners.
He sits on the Frimley ICS Board. His key interests include diabetes population management and reducing the incidence of stroke.
