Paul Nash, Member of the Industry Safety Steering Group and Past President, Chartered Institute of Building

Paul NAsh.jpgIn a career spanning over 37 years, Paul has held senior and board level positions at several leading consultancies in the construction and property sector and has advised on the delivery of high profile and complex projects and programmes in the UK and internationally.


A Fellow and Past President of the CIOB, he is actively involved in promoting and raising awareness of key issues that affect the construction industry such as quality, building safety and productivity, and regularly speaks at industry events. He is currently a member of the Industry Safety Steering Group chaired by Dame Judith Hackitt that is providing strategic oversight of the Government’s Building Safety programme in the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire.


He was chair of the CIOB’s Construction Quality Commission, which was established to investigate the issue of quality in construction and what needs to be done to improve it following the Edinburgh Schools report and other high-profile failures of quality in the industry. Paul has a Masters Degree in Project Management from the University of Reading and is an Alumni of Henley Management College.
