Jonathan Fong is a Senior Policy Adviser on the General Insurance team. He is responsible for leading the insurance industry’s policy positions on issues relating to motor insurance including a focus on autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, and e-scooters.
He joined the ABI in October 2020 from Global Risk Intelligence, where he served as a Risk Analyst for political risk and political economy in Asia. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Underwriter at Taiping Reinsurance in Hong Kong.
Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University where he concentrated in Global Business and Finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Johns Hopkins University.
