Craig has spent over 25 years in the FS industry as a financial adviser, FSA regulator, Director at KPMG and now the Group Conduct and Compliance Director at Phoenix (SMF 16). In his line 2 role he leads a team of 60 staff located across the UK providing advice, guidance and challenge to the Phoenix trading and service business units, and oversight of its strategic partners. He has a particular passion for the customer, stemming from his time at the FSA where he helped set up the first ‘Financial Capability’ programme of work. This passion continues where he leads on Consumer Duty, is a member of Phoenix Vulnerable Customer steering committee, and a member of the ABI Conduct Regulation Committee.
