James was appointed Head of Compliance at AXA Health in May 2018, following three years as Head of Conduct Regulation at the ABI. Prior to that James worked at the FSA/FCA for five years where he oversaw supervision of a number of general insurers and intermediaries. He has recently worked on implementation of regulations including SMCR and PROD 4, as well as influencing the introduction and scope of IDD and GDPR in the UK regulatory regime.
