Jo Clube is Director of Accounting Policy Developments at Aviva PLC. Currently Jo is focusing on the rapidly developing area of sustainability reporting, including climate and wider ESG disclosures, where Aviva’s objective is to be a market leader, in line with their ambitions sustainability strategy and net zero targets. Jo also has responsibility for overseeing the technical aspects of IFRS 17 implementation, the new accounting standard for insurance contracts. Jo is a member of ICAEW’s Financial Reporting Committee and represented the UK Insurance industry on the IASB’s Transition Resource Group. Jo is also a member of the UK Endorsement Board’s Preparer’s Advisory Group. Prior to joining Aviva Jo was part of the technical accounting team at Pricewaterhouse Coopers which she joined after graduating from the University of Edinburgh.
