Adam joined Aviva in January 2021 as CEO of International, bringing two decades of experience in international life and general insurance.
On 26 May 2021 he was appointed CEO of Aviva UK & Ireland General Insurance.
Adam brings senior management experience in personal and commercial lines, across operations, P&L and broker relationships, including leading UK commercial lines distribution at AIG.
Adam was previously Chief Executive Officer, Global Life Insurance at AIG. Before joining AIG in 2013, Adam was Director of Partnerships and Director of Retail at Aviva, responsible for running some of Aviva’s most significant general insurance partnerships.
Earlier in his career, Adam worked in Cape Town, South Africa overseeing a large business process outsourcing contact centre. He began his career in Paris with Allianz Asset Management.
Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in French from York University. He also has a master’s degree in European Business from the ESCP business school in Paris.
